LM 79 Test Laboratory - LED/SSL Luminaires

LM 79 testing by NABL - Accredited lab in just 5 days‎

If you are looking for LM-79 Testing for LED lights, ITC India One of the Best NABL Accredited Laboratory provide LM-79 Testing for LED Lights includes accreditation for SSL Solid State Lighting Luminaires, Total Flux Measurements (Luminous Efficacy) & Solid State Lighting Luminaires, Luminous Intensity Measurements.

ITCIndia “Institute of Testing and Certification India Pvt. Ltd” are a leading testing lab having a NABL accreditation under ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS and PHOTOMETRY testing with certificate no. T-3509, T-3570 and T-1811. ITCIndia Lab is following the procedure as required by International Standard IEC 17025 and is already certified for ISO/IEC 17025.

What is LM-79 Testing?

It is the IESNA certified method for the Electrical and Photometric Measurements of SSL Solid State Lighting. It measures an LED luminaire or integral lamp as a whole system according to a standard process using specified products.
It is the Test of the LED Lighting source case temperature within the LED system (LED Street light, LED Bulb, LED Down Light, LED Flood Light, LED High Bay Light). Put simply, it is the temperature of the LED Lights within the luminaire. The measurement has to be performed as per to the temperature measurement point out by the LED package manufacturer.

Why do we need LM -79 Testing?

Due to the collection of LED lighting products available in the Industries, there is a need to assess the quality and many parameters Related with LED lighting products. LM-79 data allows objective product comparisons and allows for evaluation relative to performance and Quality requirements.

Who can perform LM-79 testing?

LM-79 testing should be performed by ITC INDIA Laboratory for the category of product tested. Only reports from recognized laboratories are relevant. This standard is used for ENERGY STAR program qualification and lighting facts advocate program. All LED product testing are performed according to LM-79 in ITC INDIA laboratory and reports are available upon request. Click hear to see our LM -79 testing report.

What does ITC INDIA provide?

The testing report issued according to a standard format will provide
  •        Total Luminous Flux
  •        LID (Luminous Intensity Distribution)
  •         Electrical Parameter (Voltage AC, DC, Wattage, Current, Power Factor)
  •         Luminous Efficacy (calculated)
  •         Color Characteristics (CRI, CCT…)
  •         Chromaticity coordinates (X, Y...)

Once ISTMT is known, we check if the temperature within the luminaire is within the temperature of the LM-80-08 LED source report.
